On the 14th July, Gardner Systems will be teaming up with Microsoft to showcase two new Operating Systems, Windows Server 2008 R2 and the brand new Windows 7 which we think is excellent.

This event takes a look at Microsofts latest offerings for both the server and desktop Operating Systems. Windows Server 2008 Release 2 has Microsoft’s powerful Hyper-V server virtualisation built-in allowing you to free up server resources so nothing goes to waste. As a result you can dramatically reduce power consumption, lower hardware cost and make more space in your data centre.

Windows 7 has received a lot of interest over the past few months. This is a new and very exciting Operating System which makes using your computer simpler, faster and more enjoyable. This new desktop OS includes virtualisation technologies which enables the user to run all of their old XP applications inside one Windows 7 machine.
